The Web Server

	This password is not synchronized with the campus portal account yet. If you have changed the password after applying, please keep the new one in mind.
	To protect the personal cyberspace from being abused by others, the new colleague is expected to use the "Helpdesk Service Request Form" to submit his or her request for personal cyberspace (Please specify the account and desired password).
	Under a quota system, each student is allocated 100MB of hard disk space, and the faculty & staff 200MB.
	Host setup :
	Students: Server for students'web hard disks and personal homepages: sweb.nuu.edu.tw Account: Student ID number. Password: The last nine digits of the I.D. number are set as the default value. Faculty & Staff: Server for both faculty's and staff's web hard disks and personal homepages: web.nuu.edu.tw Account: The account written in the application form. Password: The password filled out in the application form.

Campus-Area Network

	External network connection: NUU has broadband connection to National Chiao Tung University via the 1 Gigabit lease line, together with a Sparq 45 MBps lease line to accelerate the Internet speed.

	Inquiry into the network traffic flow: Info about the traffic volume in each unit is available through " CITCI Traffic Summary Chart. " (account/password:nuu/nuunet) So can the total IP upload and download traffic volume in each unit be checked out via " Statistical Analysis of Network Traffic Chart ."
